4th of Heartfire 4E201
I had the best sleep ever yesterday and last night. Jenassa said that I slept nearly a whole day, and that she had come to check on me every few hours. There was even an extra room that didn't belong to anyone near mine. She had apparently claimed it as her own, and had slept there. No one seemed to mind. She also told me about exploring the college and town as I slept. She had found a few ore veins in town, and told me where they were. I got up and had a nice breakfast, learning my new spell as I ate. When I managed to cast it, even Jenassa seemed impressed as I pulled a bow and arrows seemingly out of midair. Tolfdir wandered into the dining room, and he seemed out of sorts. I asked him what was wrong, and he told me that he had misplaced his alembic and asked if I  could help him find it. I said that I would, and Jenassa and I started our search.

I ran into Phinis again and bought another spell called Revenant. It seemed pretty powerful and he looked a little too happy to sell it to me. He had some better robes for sale too, but I didn't have enough septims. Still no sign of Tolfdir's alembic yet. As we searched, I wondered why he hadn't said anything about the orb thing. I would have to remember to ask him about it after we found his alembic for him.

We found it! It was upstairs in the Hall of Countenance. Now all we had to do was find Tolfdir again.

After looking for hours, and not finding him anywhere, we decided to take a break and have some lunch. I started studying my new spell as we ate. It looked like we weren't going to be heading out of town today at this rate.

A man ran up to me in the middle of town and challenged me to a duel. I told him I wasn't interested, but he attacked me anyways. I'm sure he regretted his decision after Jenassa got him with her sword. I felt bad for him, but I had tried to get him not to fight with me.

I was practicing spells in the courtyard of the college when a dragon decided to come down and attack us. I hoped that the Arch-Mage wouldn't mind the new decorative dragon skeleton outside.

I spent all day and most of the night looking for Tolfdir, and still couldn't find him. Maybe he'll turn up tomorrow. I decided to give up for now and go and get some sleep.
