I left Cormaris View this morning. The rains finally stopped yesterday, and the roads have dried up enough to travel on without having to swim. It seems the land needed the rain, since it devoured it. I also managed to get a few septims back in my coinpurse by helping out at the inn. One of the workers had to stay home for a few days to care for their ailing mother, so they needed the help. The innkeeper was nice enough, but his stares started to make me uncomfortable after a few days. His wife seemed oblivious at first, but last night I caught her staring daggers at me more than once, so I was going to leave this morning, rain or no rain. There aren't as many other travelers on the road today, I wonder if Morrowind will be an empty wasteland one day.
