13th of Last Seed 4E201
I've been traveling for a few days now, stopping to rest at night. Its a little warmer here, and I am thankful to see less snow. I have yet to see anyone else, only the occasional deer, rabbit, or fox. I heard some wolves in the distance, but they didn't get any closer to me.

I've made my camp for the night in the base of a fallen tree. Its almost like a small cave. The air is chill, but not so cold that I will need a fire. I saw some smoke in the distance before the sun went down, perhaps it means that there is a town or settlement nearby. I hope so, this land is starting to seem empty.
